Manual, error-prone dismissal → coordinated pickup with clear authorization
The friction
School pickup and dismissal ran on manual effort, with child-level pickup authorization that was unclear and easy to get wrong.
The system I designed
Designed the pickup operation around clear roles and authorization: guardian check-in, a live staff arrivals queue, family and student management, and child-level pickup permissions, with privacy built in (coarse location only).
The outcome
Coordinated, privacy-conscious dismissal with unambiguous authorization at the child level.
